JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
Front shop staff members are
the face of the business and will play an important role in creating a
successful summer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Do your best to create a positive experience for every person who walks in the door
- Scoop ice cream and operate “swirl-in” machine
- Prepare and serve food and drinks
- Operate cash register
- Prep various food items when necessary
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Be a flavor coach by providing customers with menu item suggestions and answers to product questions
- Keep a sparkling clean shop, kitchen, and dining area
- Assist with setting up and closing front shop
- Assist with fudge projects when necessary
- Assist with stocking and monitoring fudge display

Job Responsibilities:
- Take responsibility for ensuring smooth and successful daily operations
- Work with shop staff to ensure all job responsibilities are being completed
- Be a role model for staff by keeping the highest standard for cleanliness and quality control
- Ensure overall work flow is efficient and staff are getting necessary direction
- Monitor inventory
- Deal with unhappy customers in a sensitive, caring, and honest way
- Ensure a sparkling clean shop, kitchen, and dining area
- Setup shop and ensure everything is fully stocked and prepped
- Work with staff to close shop thoroughly, efficiently and securely
- Assist with fudge projects when necessary
- Ensure fudge display is fresh, stocked, and looking good
We’re looking for people who:
- Are natural leaders with experience managing
people
- Are able to give clear and concise directions
- Are able to connect with staff and support
healthy team work
- Feel comfortable working out
issues with customers
Experience:Customer service and/or food related work experience is necessary. At least one year of work experience where you managed people is also required.
